An Alpine white grown almost in the shadow of Mont Blanc. Petite Arvine is a variety more associated with the Swiss Valais, but just across the border in the Valle d'Aosta it produces something electric: crisp, saline, and singing with mountain freshness. Chateau Feuillet is a tiny estate in Saint-Pierre near Aosta, where Maurizio Fiorano farms steep, sun-drenched slopes along the Dora Baltea, the intense alpine sun and cold nights locking in aromatics and acidity. This is one of the clearest expressions of high-altitude Italian white you can find. The 2024 is a wine for drinking now, well chilled.
