The Story
Clos du Tue-Boeuf sat at the very heart of the natural-wine movement in 1990s Paris, and Thierry Puzelat ââŹâ who now runs the estate with his daughter ZoĂŠ ââŹâ remains one of the Loire's great low-intervention pioneers. "La Guerrerie" is a Touraine field of old vines, mostly CĂ´t (Malbec) with a little Gamay, farmed organically on clay and flint. Made naturally with native ferments and minimal sulfur, it's all dark berry, violets and earthy spice, with a juicy, food-friendly grip. A benchmark natural Loire red from one of the names that started it all. Serve with a slight chill.
