The most 'classical' of the Moussis lineup, this has Margaux-esque qualities – not unlike the Haut-Medoc made by Jaugueyron. Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, (70%), with a little Merlot and Cab Franc as well. A brilliant melange of black cherries, blackberries and cassis with ascending, graphite-like minerality and only the faintest touch of horse saddle. Scrumptious now, but also good to age for 10-20 years.
