Of all the Mourvedre sites Hardy Wallace works with, Shake Ridge consistently delivers the darkest, deepest flavors, so this is the brooding end of the Dirty & Rowdy spectrum, though still made with his light hand: whole clusters, indigenous yeast, no additives, bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur. Production is small. Give it air or a short decant.
