Domaine de la Chevalerie is a benchmark in Bourgueil, known for producing Cabernet Franc thatâs soulful, structured, and built to age. âBretĂȘcheâ comes from a limestone-heavy site at the eastern end of the appellation, and it's always the most elegant, mineral, and long-aging of their single-vineyard wines.
The 2015 vintage brought both ripeness and freshnessâresulting in a wine thatâs now beautifully integrated. Aromas of red currant, tobacco, forest floor, and graphite rise from the glass, followed by a palate thatâs savory, mineral, and finely textured, with soft tannins and a long, earthy finish. Itâs still vibrant, but layered with the subtle depth that only time can bring.
