Domaine Marquis d'Angerville, Meursault 1er Cru Santenots, 2023

Biodynamic since 2006—Guillaume d'Angerville produces some of the finest wines in the Côte d'Or. This unusual vineyard can be labeled Meursault (for Chardonnay) or Volnay (for Pinot Noir). The domaine's 1.05-hectare parcel was planted in 1905—119-year-old vines contributing mineral complexity. Saline minerality with chalky structure, dry and very fruity with persistent hazelnut bouquet. The most "Volnaysien" of Meursault's climats—broad, powerful yet punchy.
