Forey Pere et Fils, Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Saint-Georges, 2023

From the vineyard that gives Nuits-Saint-Georges its name, Les Saint-Georges is widely considered the appellation's greatest site—a strong candidate for Grand Cru elevation. The Forey family has held vines here since the 1840s. Their winemaking is resolutely traditional: whole clusters, long maceration, and aging in older oak.
