The Rinaldis purchased the Boschis farmhouse atop Cannubi in 1870; Giuseppe established the separate estate in the 1920s with a first vintage in 1921. "Beppe" Rinaldi (3rd generation) took over in 1988. 6.1 hectares total, 3.8 hectares Nebbiolo. Brunate-Le Coste blend: 85% from Brunate (230-400 meters, southeast, Tortonian marls), 15% from Le Coste. Fermented one month in tall oak vats with indigenous yeast. 42 months in large Slavonian casks. No chemicals—only manure for fertilizer.
