Founded 1910 by Don Romån Montaña; family grape growing dates to 1886. 106 hectares of family-owned vineyard in Rioja Alta, many vines 40-100+ years old. 95% Viura, 5% Garnacha Blanca. Hand-harvested, native fermentation. 36 months in oak (90% French, 10% American), then 30 months cellar aging before release. Bottled without fining or filtration.
