Notre Terre (Brunnhilde Claux), VdF Rouge, 2025

Brunnhilde Claux made her name at Domaine de Courbissac in the Minervois, and Notre Terre — 'our land' — is her hands-off side project, built around the idea that terroir should do the talking. With a pedigree that runs through Domaine Gauby and Priorat's Terroir al Limit, she farms biodynamically and uses whole bunches, long macerations, and concrete vats. This rouge is juicy and savory, packed with crunchy dark and red fruit, garrigue herbs, and supple tannins. A delicious, characterful natural red — a slight chill suits it well.
