The Story
Pinot Noir from the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains in Ningxia, China—1,200-1,300 meters elevation. Founded in 2007 by Gao Lin (viticulturist) and daughter Emma Gao (chief winemaker). Emma holds a Diplôme National d'Œnologie from Bordeaux and trained at Château Calon-Ségur. Biodynamic conversion began 2017, Demeter certified 2023—China's first. 48 hectares under cultivation on sierozem soil with high gravel concentration. Approximately 50,000 bottles annual production.
