The Story
Grand Cru ClassĂ© Margaux from one of the appellation's highest vineyard sites, reaching 27 meters elevationâthe peak in all of Margaux. The 2006 vintage showcases 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot from 52 hectares of deep gravel soils. History dates to 1143; the estate was acquired and revitalized by Philippe Gasqueton in 1961, later passing to the Albada Jelgersma family. Hand-harvested, aged 15-18 months with up to 50% new oak.
