Chateau Siaurac, Lalande de Pomerol, 2020

Just outside the borders of Pomerol proper, Château Siaurac continues to be one of Lalande de Pomerol’s most respected names. With its gravel and clay soils, organically farmed vineyards, and commitment to restrained, terroir-driven winemaking, the estate delivers a consistently elegant style that overperforms vintage after vintage.

The 2020 release is rich and finely tuned: ripe plum, black cherry, and a hint of violet meet cedar, graphite, and a whisper of cocoa. The palate is smooth and medium-full, with velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and a mineral finish that speaks to the estate’s deep-rooted vines and careful élevage.

It’s a wine that offers the charm of Pomerol without the price tag—drinkable now with decanting, but structured enough to age for another 5–8 years.
