Domaine de Reuilly, Reuilly Les Pierres Plates, 2024

Single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc from Reuilly's biodynamic pioneer. Les Pierres Plates is named for the large flat slabs of fossil-laden Kimmeridgian limestone found throughout this 3-hectare plot of 40-year-old vines. Denis Jamain is the appellation's sole biodynamic producer, pushing roots deep into the same chalky soils found in Chablis and Sancerre. Fermented with native yeast in stainless steel, aged on fine lees. Lean, chiseled, mineral—this transmits terroir over grape variety. Try with oysters or fresh chevre.
