Lafarge-Vial is a collaboration between FrĂ©dĂ©ric Lafarge of Domaine Michel Lafarge in Volnay and his wife Chantal Vial, established in 2014. FrĂ©dĂ©ric brings his Burgundian winemaking philosophy to the granite soils of Beaujolais, applying the same attention to terroir and minimal intervention that defines his family's Volnay wines. The domaine farms approximately 4 hectares across Fleurie and Beaujolais-Villages. Certified organic (Ecocert). Vinification follows Burgundian methods: whole-cluster fermentation, indigenous yeast, aging in older Burgundy barrels, and bottling without fining or filtration. A Beaujolais that speaks with a Burgundian accentâstructured, site-driven, and built for the table.
