The Story
Cappellano’s 2020 Barolo “Piè Rupestris” is sourced from grafted Nebbiolo vines in the Gabutti cru of Serralunga. The vineyard’s limestone-rich soils and traditional farming yield a Barolo of depth and structure.
Made with extended maceration and aged in large Slavonian botti, it’s bottled unfined and unfiltered. The wine is savory and firm, with dried cherry, mint, rose, and a long, mineral finish. A benchmark of traditional Barolo.
