Named for the encounter between Véronique and Nicolas, La Rencontre blends two parcels—Les Pelles and Sous La Velle—with 75-year-old vines that produce Premier Cru intensity at village-level pricing. Ten percent new oak, 18 months aging, and those ancient vines create depth without heaviness.
